Compression socks were initially designed to help improve blood-flow in post-surgical patients, diabetics, people with circulatory issues, varicose veins, swelling and pain. Modern technology such as the new addition of copper ions embedded into compression socks have made them increasingly popular amongst athletes, nurses, marathon runners, world travelers, mothers to be, baby boomers and outdoor adventurers!
